Sega’s Outrun coming to Switch

Moving on from the 3DS onto the new gen sustems, arcade classic Out Run has been confirmed to be getting a release on Nintendo Switch, as part of the Sega Ages series in the new year.

Like the other Sega Ages titles released / confirmed, Out Run will be getting gyro controls and widescreen 60fps support, with music from the game’s 3DS version being ported over. From the sounds of it, this should be the enhanced arcade version of the original game.
Personally it’s great the switch is being treated as a home to arcade classics, and given its portability and install base should give these older titles a breath of new life in new and old gamers hands!
