AmigaOS 3.1.4 released..

Hyperion Entertainment have announced the release of AmigaOS 3.1.4.
Yes.. that’s right, someone is still making further improvements to one of the best OS’s with it’s biggest update so far!
The new, cleaned-up, polished Amiga operating system for your 68K machine fixes all the small annoyances that have piled up over the years. Originally intended as a bug-fix release, it also modernizes many system components previously upgraded in OS 3.9.
Some of the highlights in improvements include:

  • Over 20 Kickstart ROM modules and many more disk-based core OS components were fixed, updated, or added;
  • Native support for all Motorola 68000-68060 CPUs
  • Support for large hard disks;
  • A modernized Workbench;
  • A colourful, professionally designed icon set is included, along with the traditional four-colour icons.

Right now the digital download is available for purchase now from Hyperion direct’s download section for $35.00 USD. With a floppy disk installation set and machine specific ROMS available shortly after. The download versions are specific for each machine
