100 Milestone reached!

Well that escalated quickly! I didn’t expect to be writing this as soon as this, but here we are.. 100 posts in and to be fair, quiet a few things have changed since the site was originally setup. New layout, a lot of daily news content, reviews are currently kicking in.
So here’s what’ll be happening over the next few hundred articles.
More content! The priority is bringing more reviews onto the site for older console games, that not to say the 8bit computer side will be neglected, as I have plans for that too.. So expect the following schedule:
News – Mon-Fri
Reviews – Saturday – Sunday with a sprinkling during the week covering right now:

  • GX4000(until all 26 reviewed)
  • Sega 32X
  • Sega Mega CD(Sega CD)
  • Super Nintendo
  • ZX Spectrum

Gamecube on the other hand will have all covered, I have a near (bar 10 at time of writing ) complete set, so it’s quiet fun to replay all of these, from the bad to the good, to the great! Other systems will be covered at some point (hey i’m only 1 person!) most likely once each format has around 20-30 reviews each, and expect formats with lower game numbers to have complete set reviews.
Right now TRVG video content is on hold, most likely until EGX later this year, just to enable more time on the website rather than spreading too thinly, however guest videos will show up in the news feed on regular intervals from friends of the site.
So what’s next?
Competitions are inbound, but these will occur once the 5,000, 10,000, 20,000 markers occur (other random items may turn up outside of these). So spread the word to all, through facebook, twitter, wordpress, and other social channels.
Most importantly though, this site contains no funded content. If any review copies are provided, it will always be stated as such. Otherwise, treat every review as self funded, likewise I won’t be begging for money for server costs.. The side is 100% funded through adverts and a side pot of bitcoin, so any money raised from Patreon will go directly to enabling more hours to be spent on content or eventually expanding the team..
Here’s to the next few months!
